Public Notice - Sealed Bids

The City of Waverly is accepting sealed bids on the below referenced project.

City of Waverly - Accessible Wheelchair Swing Procurement and Delivery

The City of Waverly is seeking sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of one (1) Single-Rider Accessible Wheelchair Swing, Original Freedom Glider, or approved equal, to be installed at a county-designated location.

Minimum specifications for the project include the purchase of one (1) Original Freedom Glider accessible wheelchair swing, configured as a single bay unit in brown. The unit shall include four (4) wheel locks and a ground mat and be complete with the duckbill anchor or string system for installation. The Freedom Glider shall be delivered fully assembled on a flatbed truck. A forklift will be onsite at the delivery location, and unloading will be performed by Humphreys County Public Works employees.

Bid documents and specifications can be obtained or reviewed at the City of Waverly, City Hall, 101 East Main Street, Waverly, TN 37185, or by emailing kthomas@waverlytn.org.

Bids must be received no later than March 23,2026 10 AM at City of Waverly, City Hall, 101 East Main Street, Waverly, TN 37185, at which time they will be publicly opened. Late or emailed bids will not be considered.

All bidders must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Additional requirements will be outlined in the bid specifications.

City of Waverly reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
