BID NOTICE

Bid Announcement for Bridge Replacement Project Bold Springs Road over Blue Creek

Sealed bids for the construction of the project described herein will be received by the Humphreys County Highway Department (Owner), Randy Woods, Road Supervisor, 1500 East Railroad Street, Waverly, TN, 37185 until 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 22, 2026, when bid packages will be publicly opened and read aloud at said office. The work for which bids are to be submitted consists of furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary for the replacement of one bridge. This project consists of the replacement of one (1) bridge. The one (1) bridge included in this single letting contract is: Bold Springs Road over Blue Creek which consists of one (1) 18'x12' triple-barrel box bridge, two lanes, 30' O" out-to-out, 90° skew in Humphreys County. The project includes the replacement of an existing two-span steel I-beam with concrete deck bridge on Bold Springs Road over Blue Creek. The proposed structure will be a triple-barrel box bridge with concrete riding surface. All bidders must be licensed general contractors to perform the type of construction herein described. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Plans, and other contract documents may be examined at the Humphreys County Highway Dept. and at Alfred Benesch & Company, 574 Franklin Road, STE 300, Franklin, TN 37069, phone (615) 370-6079. Electronic copies of these documents may be obtained by emailing jwilliams@benesch.com. Physical copies may be obtained at the office of Alfred Benesch & Company upon payment of $25.00 for each set (nonrefundable). The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids.

Notice is hereby given that on the 29th day of September, 2026 Letters Co-Testamentary in respect to the Estate of JEAN LOFTIN THOMPSON, deceased, who died on December 28, 2025, were issued to the Co-Executrices by the Chancery Court of Humphreys County, Tennessee.

All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or un-matured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2). Otherwise their claims will forever be barred:

(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this Notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or

(B) Sixty (60) days from the date of the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors, if the creditor received a copy of the Notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1)(A); or

(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.
