IT IS ORDERED, That publication hereof be made for four (4) consecutive weeks in the NEWS-DEMOCRAT, a newspaper published at Waverly, in Humphreys County, Tennessee, notifying Defendants that he/she is required to file with the Clerk of this Court on or before thirty (30) days from the date of the last publication hereof and serve a copy thereof on the Solicitor for Plaintiff,Markley Preston Runyon, at P.O. Separate sealed bids for the project entitled “Extension of 8” Public Water Main, Tank Hill Road and Washington Circle, Waverly, Humphreys County, Tennessee” will be received by the City of Waverly at the City of Waverly Municipal Board Room at City Hall, 103 E. Main Street, Waverly, TN 37185 on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 10 AM Central Time, and then at said Board Room publicly opened and read aloud. Hard copies may be obtained at the office of James + Associates located at 121 North Main Street, Dickson, TN 37055, upon payment of $250.00 for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning each set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded their payment, and any non-bidder upon so returning such a set will be refunded $100.00. All requests for hard copies shall be made in advance per email to Andrea.Tanner@jamesplus.net.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
