Humphreys County is requesting bids for the construction of a 40’x60’ wood framed building on Highway 13 south in Hurricane Mills. The building will be constructed of wood framing with metal cladding on an existing concrete pad. Interested parties should contact the Humphreys County Executive’s Office at 931-296-7795 for plans and specifications.  Bids must be received no later than June 19, 2025 at 1:30 PM at which time they will be publicly opened. Humphreys County has the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

The McEwen City Board and Mayor will hold a budget workshop for the 2025 - 2026 City Budget at City Hall beginning at 5 PM on Tuesday June 10.

If workshop discussions go beyond 6 PM the regular June Board Meeting will begin upon conclusion of the workshop.

Discussions could include, but not be limited to, City infrastructure needs (roads, water/sewer improvements,...) equipment needs, personnel requirements and consideration of funding sources (property taxes, surplus funding...).
